“On one condition.”“What’s that?” He holds his hands out to his sides. “That you’ll love me forever,” he whisper-yells before flashing me a grin that could light up the darkened sky. Laughing, and feeling like nothing in the world could ever ruin this feeling, I jog back to where he’s standing and press a kiss to his lips. “I promise.”
On One Condition is the second book in the S.I.N series, it focuses on Ledger Sharpe and Asher Wells.
Ledger Sharpe is forced to go back to the small town where he spent his summers with his brothers and father. The town where fifteen years ago he met his lavender girl .
Asher Wells still living in her hometown looking after her grandparents' lavender farm is content with what she has when Ledger Sharpe walks into the bar she's working in everything changes.
“Asher?” His voice sounds as shocked as I feel before his eyes quickly dart to his right and left —as if he’s expecting someone else to be there— before coming back to mine. “What . . . what in the hell are you doing here?”“Ledger.” His name is a breathless two syllables as I try to gain my bearings. “I— what— I mean . . .” Why? Why are you here? Why does seeing you bring back a million emotions— elation, anger, surprise, shame, longing— despite the passage of time? Why are you even more handsome now?
This book is a take on second chance romance and how love is enough to conquer betrayal and come out stronger together. Ledger and Asher's journey through the betrayals and lies of the past to find their happy ever after is heartwarming.
This is definitely worth a read loved it
